Push capability forward and bring more people to it. Make powerful models, research and methods usable outside the largest institutions. Our bet is that capable, decentralized builders give civilization stronger defenses and more ways to solve its problems.

Give people room to experiment, start companies, compete and discover new forms of value. Small teams with powerful tools should be able to attempt work that once required an institution.

Freedom, democracy, individual agency and constitutional government are the framework we intend to carry forward. Build America's productive and technical capacity. Advance the ideas that let free people flourish.

We have agency over the future now. Use it. Choose work for what it can make possible, and accept responsibility for what you build.

It is acceptable to have bad ideas. Once you recognize that an idea is wrong, discard it quickly. Apply that discipline to code, business decisions, institutions and ideologies, including the ones you once believed.

Understand a real problem, find the intervention others have missed, and measure what changes. Use machine learning, inference and small teams to create new sources of value.

Fight for meritocracy. Identify excellent work, expose methods to fair competition, and direct attention, resources and adoption toward stronger results. Challenge barriers that protect weaker incumbents. Credit contributors and put their improvements to use.
